We have made our way to Lake Proserpine, and set up camp for 6 nights right beside the lake. This is a very special camp as we’ve caught up with our daughter Jodie, her partner KJ and our grandson Zephyr, who are travelling in their caravan, exploring the east coast. It was a very happy reunion with lots of good times to come.

The campground on Lake Proserpine provides us with magnificent sunset view each evening and each day we are so grateful that we can spend this precious time with some of our family before we head off on our next adventure.

We decided to do a tour of the Whitsundays which included some snorkling, and a visit to Whitehaven Beach. We went with the crew from Ocean Rafting who really looked after us and ensured we all had a fun day. It was Zephyr’s first time snorkelling at the reef so most of our fun was watching Zephyr live his best life!

As today was so jam-packed, tomorrow is a day of rest, so we are all looking forward to just hanging out together by the lake.
