Stayed at the Underground Motel in Coober Pedy so we could get an early start today – we have a big driving day today.

We crossed the border into NT as well as the Tropic of Capricorn. So far on this trip we have gone through NSW, VIC, SA and now NT. By the time we get home we would have also added WA and QLD to our itinerary. We camped at the Aileron Camping Area – 134kms north of Alice Springs – we are really in the outback here lots of red dust and really peaceful, there are only 2 other caravans here and us – lots of stars to look at tonight – that’s if we don’t crash out early after travelling 812kms today.
