We can’t believe we have been on the road for over 100 days. Each day has been an adventure, seeing new places, meeting new people and living our life so comfortably in our little home on wheels.
We travelled through the Pilbura, travelling long distances across WA. The vastness of WA is reflected in how long we spend on the road between stops. You can travel for 3 – 4 hours, with only the odd roadhouse for a fuel stop in between. We visited Tom Price, a mining town at the edge of Karijini, we then made our way up the coast to Karratha and then back into the Pilbura for some off grid camping in the most beautiful setting.
Off grid camping is quickly becoming our favourite way to camp. ‘Where’s Wallee’ is really comfortable and it’s great to be in the outdoors with lots of space.
Mairee Pool was definitely one of our favorite stops. Here are some pics.

From here we headed again back to the coast to Exmouth and onto the Ningaloo Marine Park. The water here was amazing and we swam in crystal clear water with lots of fish to keep us company.

From Exmouth we headed to Coral Bay which was also a lovely place to swim, but very popular so after a refreshing dip we headed back inland to Bullara Station for 3 nights.
Bullara Station is a quirky cattle station that set itself up as one of the premier, rustic station stays in WA. We enjoyed a beautiful dinner here in the Woolshed where we met lots of great people and the food was amazing! Bullara is so unique and so worth a visit.

Next we head further south to Carnavon, Denham and Shark Bay to visit the Dolphins at Monkey Mia.
