Today we are going on a tour to Horizontal Falls. We boarded the sea plane at Derby and after about a half hour flight we landed on a plontoon at the Horizontal Waterfall. We went out in a speed boat, through the falls which was amazing. At the highest peak the water flowed through the falls at the rate of 1 megalitre per second. We had a really enjoyable day, a lovely lunch of freshly caught barramundi, we also fed the sharks and lazed about in the sun, taking in the beautiful landscape as well as having a trip up Cyclone creek which was also a beautiful spot. Can highly recommend a day out with Horizontal Falls Adventure team. We have all come back to camp exhausted ready for an early night.
