We have been out of phone range for a few days, here is what we have been up to…………….Left Elliott this morning looking forward to meeting up with with our friends at Katherine to start the second leg of our road trip. On the way we called into Daly Waters Pub – a must see if you are heading up the Stuart Highway to Katherine. Apparently everyone who stays here has to leave something behind, consequently there are bras, undies, business cards, name badges, caps, you name it, they have it here. We met up with Julie, Brian, Gary, Matt and Guillaume in Katherine, lots of hugs and kisses all around, all excited to begin our Kimberly trek together. We set up camp near Timber Creek off the main road, and had a good night catching up. After a hearty meal (and a couple of reds) we sat back and enjoyed the light show from the zillion stars in the night sky. Tomorrow Kununarra.
