We crossed the border to WA today. At the quarantine station we handed over all our fruit and veges, (and unopened honey) and then made our way to Kununurra where we restocked our fruit and veges (and more honey) and headed off to Wyndham. We went up to the five rivers lookout where 5 rivers in the area flow out into the ocean. It certainly made for a grand view. We then made our way back down south to get on the infamous Gibb River Road. We had our first creek crossing, we survived, but I think there are plenty more in store that will test us out a bit more. We made our way to El Questro and set up camp, we will be here for 2 nights. The scenery along the Gibb River Road is just like what you see in all the photos of the Kimberly, beautiful – again we are astounded at the variety of landscapes we have gone through.

Our first croc sighting – they are big!!!
On the road again.
Stopped here for a cuppa
View over the Kimberly
River crossing
Beard’s growing well – apparently the Kimberly is a ‘no shave zone’.
