Had to pack up in the rain this morning, wasn’t too bad, we are amazed at how quick the pod camper is to pack and unpack – even in the rain. We left Tanunda and headed to the Clare Valley. We have been through Clare before and remembered it being really beautiful, lots of rolling hills and open plains with dark fertile land and dotted with vineyards and beautiful old wineries. It didn’t disappoint, it was just as lovely as we remember. We called into Annie’s Lane winery to pick up more supplies then made our way up to Hawker taking the RMWilliams Way and passing through lots of tiny towns.
The landscape was beautiful, not like anything we have seen through out travels through NSW. But the best was yet to come. We made our way to Wilpena in the Flinders Ranges and have set up camp in the Flinders Ranges National Park. What a beautiful spot. This is definitely worth a follow up visit. We went for a bushwalk and whetted out appetite to do lots more walks in the area…..if only we had more time!
